The organisers of Oundle Vintage Festival 2026 are delighted to announce that there will be a flypast by a Spitfire and a Hurricane this year’s event from the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at 11am. Visitors will look to the skies then, with the vintage aircraft set to approach from the North (the direction of Glapthorn), and then do three passes over the town.
So – do get to the event early to ensure you don’t miss the emotive sights and sounds of WW2’s most iconic aircraft with the unmistakable roar of their powerful Merlin engines.
