The 2019 vintage festival was a huge success in many ways, one of these was the event raising just over £10,000 for the Town Clock & Bells Repair Fund. With the Town Clock funded and now repaired, the festival organisers have come up with a new focus for the charitable side of the festival. This is a brand-new initiative called the ‘Love Oundle Fund’ which it is hoped will support projects aimed at enhancing public spaces within the town for many years to come.
The Love Oundle Fund will be open to groups, individuals and businesses with local improvement in mind, and applications for funding will be considered for projects big or small that aim to improve the fabric or appearance of the town in some way. One good example of this may be the recently formed Oundle in Bloom group, who are likely to be one of the early beneficiaries of the fund.
